We are heading to the South for today's celebrity wedding weekend, to the hills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee for the wedding of actors Pepi Sonuga and Zachariah Rogers.
Lovella Bride Pepi Sonuga took the reins when it came to planning her very personal and intentional wedding weekend in July 2025, including the wedding weekend fashion for both her and now husband Zach. The couple planned each aspect of their wedding celebration to be meaningful, as they focused on blending Southern and Nigerian traditions. The bride's family would be traveling for the wedding, no matter what location they chose, so they ultimately settled on Tennessee, where the groom's family lives. The wedding weekend began with a traditional Nigerian wedding ceremony, where the bride and groom wore colorful Yoruba clothing made of custom aṣọ oke fabric in shades of aquamarine and coral. For her second bridal look that day, Pepi wore traditional Igbo attire in a custom designed lime green and red george wrapper and blouse complete with rhinestones and gold embroidery. With these two outfits, the bride paid tribute to both of her parent's heritage.
For the western wedding ceremony the next day, bride Pepi knew she wanted to wear Ines Di Santo and was searching for a wedding gown that was romantic and feminine but also had a bit of an edge to it. Working with our own Nayri, Wedding Fashion Expert for her wedding weekend bridal style, the Marietta wedding dress by Ines Di Santo was selected for Pepi's wedding ceremony dress. This striking ball gown wedding dress features a strapless, corseted bodice with architectural tips and hand-placed flower petals on the voluminous, textural dress skirt. Pepi shares, "When I walked down the aisle, I felt like a floating garden.” The movement of the three-dimensional floral details on the wedding dress added to the ethereal bridal look and was perfectly complemented with a matching floral-detailed wedding veil for even more drama when walking down the aisle. Bride Pepi carried a colorful, whimsical bridal bouquet that matched the ceremony arch and aisle flowers and the colorful arrangements and centerpieces at the wedding reception.
The bridal fashion was not over after the wedding ceremony! Our Lovella Bride Pepi changed into a second Ines Di Santo wedding dress for a reception bridal look. This time, Pepi chose a playful sparkle and fringe dress that was more fitted and suited to dancing the night away at her wedding reception.
