'My special day was very magical and special to me and my husband. We had to postpone our wedding last year to this year. However, we had already postponed this year's wedding to next year since our wedding hall was indoors and there were under CDC and government restrictions to stay close. However, about 3 weeks before our wedding day, we received the green light from our hall that we are able to celebrate our special day this year, but with limited capacity. It was extremely hard to pick our reduced guest list. Some of our guests weren't feeling comfortable to attend our wedding at this point and some had advanced vacation booked in the past. On the other hand, my husband lost his father due to Covid in early January which made it so hard for us to decide if it was appropriate to move forward with our special day. We decided to go for this year since we can't predict the future and not knowing who might pass next year.
The first moment my husband and I looked at one another, we had a spark of joy between us that could be read from our eyes. I loved looking at him and admiring how handsome he is and I couldn't believe I was marrying him. He kept telling me you look stunning and I love you!
When we came to the hall, we assumed that people might not dance as much as they used to. However, every time I was looking at the tables, they all were empty and people were dancing on the dance floor non-stop. Our guests were thanking us and saying they had so much fun since they haven't been into any wedding in the past year. They said they were recharged and they all danced till 2AM!
It was a hard month with graduation, final project for my internship place and getting married but I can proudly say WE DID IT!'
