As the year comes to an end we have been anticipating the announcement of the Pantone color of the year and it is finally here! The Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute, Laurie Pressman, spoke to an audience at the fashion trade show Sourcing at Magic in Las Vegas, and said the colors of the year had been inspired by the sea! While blue will be taking the spot light in 2020, Laurie stated that, "Browns are important across the gamut and are inspired by dried seaweed and driftwood." She also expects sand-like whites and greens with cool hues to take part as well.
